When will I be billed and what will my statement read?
Your transaction takes place instantly when your credit card is approved and you view the confirmation page. On your credit card statement you will see a charge from Langford Running Company Ltd. Victoria, B.C. This is the parent company of Raceonline.ca.

How do I know my credit card information is safe?
Your credit card information is encrypted before it is sent through a secure private network connection to be processed by your credit card company.  Your credit card information is not stored or accessible to Raceonline.ca.

What expenses does the transaction fee cover?
The transaction fee covers expenses such as website maintenance, credit card processing fee, secure online credit card processing fee, website hosting, and website development.

How do I change information that was submitted incorrectly?
If you think you've submitted any of your registration information incorrectly simply email us at info[at]raceonline.ca with the correct information and we will make any corrections that need to be made.

Refunds and Exchanges
If you have registered for an event and for whatever reason are looking for a refund or exchange on your registration please contact the race director of your event as all refunds and exchanges are at the discretion of each race director.

How can I find out if I am registered for an event?
If you go back to the registration page for your event you will see a link titled "participant list." Click on this link and it will show a list of all registered participants for your event. Note that the list may only include the participants who have registered using the online service as some race directors don't enter the paper registrations into this confirmation list or only update it once per week.

I lost or did not receive my confirmation email for an event I just registered for?

If you email us at info[at]raceonline.ca with your NAME and EVENT we can re-send your email receipt.

Where does my data go and who has access to it?
Your credit card information is sent via a secured private network to be processed by your credit card company.  This information is not stored or accessible to anyone at Raceonline.ca.  Your personal information that is entered during the registration process is stored in a password protected database that is only accessible to the race director of your event and the administrators of Raceonline.ca.
